Bandit, whose booming barks ruled the Bronx Zoo's sea lion pool and delighted countless kids and adults for more than two decades, has died. The 26-year-old California sea lion was euthanized Tuesday after zookeepers and veterinarians decided he was in too much pain from advanced joint inflammation, zoo officials said yesterday.



NOW...if this was a human being the term would not be "has died" but would be "has been murdered".



If an animal can be put out of their misery to save them any further suffering then why can't a human being???????
