I really like this show, but I will not be watching it anymore. This evening's "fictional" show was about a missing girl. The quote in the show was "no body, no crime". Hmmmm...sounds like what is happening in Aruba right now.

The fact that the producers and writers and actors tried to make a buck off of a family's misery is enough for me to not watch this show. I wonder if the Holloway Family was given any money from this show or if money was given to the search for their daughter.

This is not the first time that L&O has done this type of story from the headlines....BUT the fact that Natalee Holloway has not even been found yet or anyone convicted for her disappearance is sickening. Pathetic, actually!

I didn't watch the full show so I have no idea how it ended. If it ended with the Holloway Family getting any compensation please let me know.

I kind of live in the past which is why I have issues dealing with the present and the future. This is mainly pertaining to relationships. I always look back and blame myself for failed relationships. Now I know I have issues and may have caused problems, but no way am I too blame for all of the problems. In fact, in a couple of relationships, I was not even the main cause of the problem. (When I say "couple" that is a big number considering I am only counting "SERIOUS" relationships) ....I do not consider many of the relationships I have had SERIOUS...the number would be 4. Every one of the girls in those relationships was the ONE. Obviously, either God is having a LOT of laughs at my expense right now, or they weren't the one.

Most days I hope it is just God having a laugh. But some days, and these are the worst, I start thinking I have already met the one for me and that was my one shot and since I messed it up I am going to be alone for the rest of my life.

I have come to a formula that may help me in the future. If I meet someone and I can listen to any of the following 4 songs without thinking of the "ONE" I may have already dated.....I will have found the ONE.

The other songs don't emit so much a feeling for me at the time, but rather a situation at the time. I look back and know exactly why I remember the other songs, but 3 is the song I chose....which is why it sticks out.

I fully believe when I meet a woman that doesn't have me thinking of anyone but her when I listen to the songs I have listed....she is the ONE.

I hope it turns out to be one of the 'anyones' I am trying to stop thinking about....that would tell me that true feelings aren't a waste....that someday they mean something.

I remember I was dating a girl a while back and we were getting along really well. I used to meet her after work across the street from the subway. One night she came up the stairs and saw me and smiled. When the light changed she ran across the street and jumped on me to give me a hug. I have to say that having someone love you that much is quite a thing and even now as I think about it I smile and, at the same time, get a little teary eyed.

Well...today is\was my birthday...depending on when you read this. I used to look forward to these things. Today I actually told my family NOT to get a cake for me. This is the first time in my life that I did not have a cake for my birthday...and it was my choice.

Why????? Because what the fuck difference does it make? In the end you die. You can be the best person in the world and the closest person to God in the world as you can get and you will die. You can be a scumbag and do anything you want and you will die. The whole problem is what in the hell happens after you die.

Many people live THIS life for the "yet unproven" NEXT life. I wish with every atom in my body that there is a NEXT life because this one is not summing up to what I thought it would be.

Now I am not going to say that since pot is illegal that we need to bring back prohibition, but I think it is scary that the Supreme Court, all of whom probably enjoy a drink or two, can actually sit there with straight faces and tell people they cannot not have pot. I will not even leave it just for medical reasons....if you can drink alcohol please tell me why pot is illegal! We have thousands upon thousands of people killed by alcohol every year....drunk drivers are running wild without proper jail sentencing if they kill someone....tobacco kills millions....but it is the lowly marijuana plant that is taking all the abuse.

In as much as I believe Terri would not want to live in the state she is now I believe it is wrong to starve her to death. It would be much more humane if they gave her a shot that would just stop her heart. Letting her die this way is pretty damn sick and all involved should be ashamed.

Do I believe she is suffering in the way we would feel suffering? No since she really has no brain function, but it is still the most inhumane thing I have ever seen. What they are doing to her is what they should be doing to the man who killed the 9 year old girl in Florida. Instead...that idiot gets 3 square meals a day and color TV. Great society we have created for ourselves!

They should let her die with dignity...not waste away to nothing. I feel for the parents very much, but how can they want to let her live in her current condition with no hope of recovery? Would either one of them want to be hooked up to machines the rest of their lives?? Do I believe the husband's account that Terri said she wouldn't want to live this way? Not really...who the hell that young talks about being brain dead and hooked up on a machine???? Many people talk about it now because of this case, but before this I am sure it didn't come up all that often.

I know many people out there think euthanasia is wrong, but if your pet dog or cat were suffering it would be considered inhumane to not put them to sleep. Why is it different with people? Shouldn't we treat people with the same respect, dignity and concern that we treat our pets?

Why is it that shitty movies like Gigli get to DVD, but GREAT films like Captain's Courageous (1937) or King Kong (1933) don't??? It was only just this past February that White Heat (1949) and Angels with Dirty Faces (1938) made it to DVD. Yet the Movie Studios keep rushing absolutely shitty movies to DVD to try and make up some money. Whoever bought a DVD copy of the "Bennifer" movie deserves a boot right up their ass!!!!!

The fact that some great films are only put on DVD the way the Director wants you to see them.....(George Lucas)......also sucks....I would watch my Star Wars Episode 4, 5 and 6 VHS Tapes over the DVDs any day!!!!! Especially 6...Hey George....What the fuck is up with that shitty music on the DVD at the end???????????

(The Alien Quadrilogy put 2 versions on the DVDs so you could choose between the actual movie and the artistic version of the Director. In some cases the extended scenes were better...sometimes they weren't....BUT at least the FANS who bought the DVD got to CHOOSE!!!!! 2 THUMBS UP for the people who released the Alien Quadrilogy DVD release!)

GET THE GREAT FILMS ON DVD NOW.....AND LEAVE THEM THE WAY THE FANS LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!! (at the very least...let the fans choose how they want to view them as with the Alien Quadrilogy.)

Why is it that drunk drivers who kill innocent people are given light sentences???? There was a woman in Queens, NY who was run over and thrown 150 feet and killed and the driver, who was arrested before for DUI, was only given 1 year in jail. I do not think I have to list all of the bullshit sentences since we see them on the news every night. So, why aren't the laws being changed???

I will tell you.....because if they start truly cracking down on alcohol the way they crack down on so called harmful drugs like Pot and Coke...etc etc etc the Government would have to make alcohol illegal. (Now I am not saying the illegal drugs aren't harmful...what I am saying is that alcohol is just as, if not, more harmful than those illegal drugs) Now we all know how prohibition worked out the last time. However, isn't that exactly what they are doing with Pot and Coke...etc etc etc????? ((Do not even get me started on Cigarettes!!!!....the number one most lethal drug in the world!!!!!!!!!!)) The Opium business in Afghanistan has gone up 2000% since we 'so called' freed that country. Opium is used to make Heroin. The Heroin trade is way up in the US and its use is way up as well. How is this possible?????? We bombed the shit out of Afghanistan and are in control so you would think we would stop all of the Heroin coming to the US that is killing and destroying many lives here. Do any of you honestly believe our Government doesn't get kickbacks from drug lords in Afghanistan and other countries? Bloomberg wants to build a Stadium on the West Side of Manhattan. Now, anyone who has driven or walked on the West Side of Manhattan during rush hour or on a weekend knows damn well that the traffic and congestion is horrific. It has taken me over 45 minutes to get from 2nd Avenue over to the Lincoln Tunnel. To put that in perspective...it should only take about 5...if that. Plus, what about the people who live over there???? I am sure they do not like all that congestion.

Instaed of working on a solution to clear up the congestion and traffic Bloomberg wants to put a Stadium over there and is trying to convince people that it will not impact them. Is he fucking nuts???? Apparently so! But what the hell does he care????...he can always take his helicopter if the traffic is too bad. His advice to people in the past has been to take Mass Transit. BUT I ask, "Why should people be inconvenienced from using their cars that they worked hard for to buy just so this asshole can build a Stadium???" He also says he wants to have NYC Host the Olympics! Is he fucking nuts??????? This city is congested enough as it is....to have the Olympics here is madness!

What it comes down to is that a bunch of rich people are going to get richer and the low to middle income workers of NYC will be paying for all of this and getting NOTHING in return. (Amazing that we can afford to build a Stadium, but this asshole has closed Firehouses and Schools all over the place)

In fact, they get money for prescribing the medicine, the money from the company who produces the medicine and then the treatment of the patient for the "inevitable" side effects that will follow.

The major issue right now is Social Security. Why is it that not one person who serves in the government has to pay into this shitty system???????? Why is it that these same people are guaranteed the same salary they receive now until the day they die??????? No wonder they vote the way they do!!!!! Democrats AND Republicans both!!!!! They all vote the same when it comes to NOT paying the same Social Security that we (regular) people do!

My Mom paid into Social Security since she was 18....she passed away at 54....that is 36 years of the Government taking her hard earned money. After she passed away we received $255.00!!!!!!! She paid well over $30,000 into Social Security and because she was not lucky enough to live long enough to collect she lost ALL of it! So did her family!

Real Life Mouse Hunt

This pas t Friday Night I was sitting at my PC when I heard a noise from the kitchen. It was the sound of a plastic bag being crinkled. I walked over and didn't see anything and even kicked the bag, but there was nothing. I just figured some garbage was settling. I was at my PC for about 5 minutes and I heard it again, only louder. I walked over and saw a mouse. I had the opportunity to squash it with my boot and for a second I hesitated because I was trying to think of a way to get rid of it without killing it. The mouse took that second to take off and hide under my fridge. Needless to say I was awake half the night watching the mouse come out from the fridge and then run back under as soon as I moved an inch. It was not like the mouse from The Green Mile.

I have a trap that will catch a mouse alive so that you can release it. I put that on the floor in hopes it would catch him. It did not and I did not see the mouse for 2 days.

Sunday night I heard the mouse. Fed up with this I bought some traps on Monday after work. I bought 4 of those snap traps and 1 rather expensive trap that looks like a shoe box and electrocutes the mouse. It runs off of 4 AA batteries and is supposed to be more humane than the snap trap. I was still in the hopes that it would choose the catch and release trap.

Nothing happened Monday night.

Tonight I walked into the kitchen and thought I saw something on the counter. Of course I said to myself, "You are seeing things.", but I got my flashlight and looked under my microwave. Sure enough I see 2 little feet. Then I see the mouse's face as it looked right at me. It was kind of cute actually and I decided that as cute as it may be it needed to go. SO...I put the catch and release trap and the electrocution one up near the microwave. I then looked back under the microwave where the mouse was and actually told it to choose the green trap...not the blue one. You guessed it...the blue one was the electric chair. I then turned off the light and waited to see what would happen. Well...it didn't take long.

I heard something like a static shock and a squeak. I then looked in the kitchen and the light on top of the electric trap was blinking which meant the mouse was in it. I was hoping that it didn't kill it, but when I looked in I saw the mouse was dead.

Now I know mice are gross and unless they are a pet you don't need one running around your house...BUT I haven't felt this low in a while. I actually feel bad about this and am happy that I used the electric trap rather than a glue trap or the snap ones. It was over really quickly.

I probably will not get to sleep anytime soon because I feel really bad about this right now. I didn't want to kill it; I just wanted it out of my apartment. I feel kind of dumb feeling this bad over a mouse, but I am not big into killing things.

I always joke that if I had to kill a cow to get a steak I would club it in the head myself. In reality, I would probably starve to death. It is kind of hypocritical for me to eat meat I suppose, but I guess if I really had to kill an animal myself I would be able to in order to survive.

I guess I feel bad because all this mouse was probably trying to do was keep warm and get some food. Something any of us would do in winter if we were cold and hungry. Well it seems that the main stream media is finally posing the question, "Is Christianity under attack" due to all of the new rules regarding Christmas. I think the answer is, "YES!....duh!"

You can't have a Christmas tree in one place, you can't have a nativity scene in another...then you can't sing Christmas Carols in this school play, you can't listen to the radio in some places because a Christmas Carol might come on....hell, in some places you can't even use the word Christmas. I think it is pretty apparent that Christmas and Christianity are under attack and I do not think any of us should stand idly by while they are. You do not need to be super religious in order to understand that Christmas is based on the birth of Jesus Christ. It may have started out as a Pagan Feast Day, but it's meaning now is to celebrate the birth of God's only Son, Jesus. It is also a time to spend with family. It should only be thought of a day with presents if you are under the age of ten or are just a big kid at heart....like me!

Now to all the people trying to banish everything Christian from Christmas just pick up a copy of Seinfeld on DVD and start celebrating Festivus. AND try not to benefit from getting out of work by taking a day off for Christmas since you really don't deserve it. Also, no offense to Muslims, (actually, get offended if you like since this is the way it is) but I am sick of watching this country tip toe around you. You're not in Kansas anymore and in this country you actually have the Freedom to believe in God in any way you see fit...or not believe in Him at all. What you do not have the right to do is complain every time people show their faith in a manner that you do not agree with...that goes to everyone bitching about the true meaning of Christmas!

I have never watched this show up until a few weeks ago. I have to admit it is an excellent show. For those of you who are watching it as well I think we would all agree that Jonathan needs to seriously have the living shit kicked out of him! I feel so bad for his wife. If she does not divorce his ass after this show then she deserves to be with this asshole. I would like to just be able to punch him once right in the head. He actually hit his wife today near the end of the show...well he hit her bag and almost knocked her over. Then the host of the show actually had to tell him that he should go talk to his wife since she was hysterically crying. What does he do??? HE walks over and yells at her some more. Anyone related to this asshole should hide in shame!!!

Now I know I said no more negative posts, BUT....this is not a negative post. By punching this asshole in the head it would make me feel better and if it was filmed and aired I think it would make everyone watching the show feel better as well. This guy is a true piece of shit.

Christmas Rant....Follow Up

I was emailed by a friend of mine after she read my Christmas Rant and corrected me by stating and showing me that Christmas was actually a pagan celebration and not a Christian Holiday. I would agree with that as I knew that the origins of the Holiday we now call Christmas originated with the pagans. HOWEVER, in the United States Christmas has always been based on Christian beliefs and that is what I was talking about. I really wasn't talking about a pagan celebration from thousands of years ago.

My main point of my post is that it seems no religion nowadays, other than Christianity, is allowed to be offended. There are places were Christmas is fast becoming a dirty word in fear someone may be offended. There are places where you cannot sing Christmas carols. How silly is that????? ((I point this out to my friend Pixierose who is convinced we actually live in a free society.)) We aren't even free to sing Christmas carols in certain places!

This will be my last negative post because this kind of crap is truly ruining my Holiday spirit. Getting pissed off about the idiocy out there is probably exactly the result many of those people against the Holiday want. SO....no more negativity for the remainder of this Holiday Season.

Well it seems Maplewood NJ has cancelled singing Christmas carols since a 'few' people were upset last year when Jesus and Angels were mentioned. Guess what?????

Christmas is a CHRISTIAN holiday celebrating the BIRTH OF CHRIST!!!!!!! Is it that much of a shock that Jesus' name appears in some Christmas songs?????

These people are sucking the joy and celebratory feeling right out of Christmas! If you do not believe in Jesus or Christianity then why the hell are you celebrating Christmas???? For the gifts?? If so, then you miss the WHOLE REASON of the Holiday!!!!!!!

Well…the Holidays are right around the corner and we are once again embroiled with MORONS who don’t want religious overtones applied to them. I call them MORONS because that is exactly what they are.

The Pilgrims prayed quite a lot and were a very religious people. Thanksgiving was created to not only thank the Indians that helped them, but also to thank God for allowing them to be here. I say if you do not want the religious overtones which this Holiday was based on and you want to prevent others from doing so then you should wake you sorry ass up at 7 in the AM on Thursday and get your dipshit ass to work! There should be no reason for you to take the day off if you cannot respect the intentions that the Pilgrims had for it. Now plenty of people will celebrate it without religious overtones…as my family does…and that is fine….because we are not trying to stop anyone else from doing so.

Saying that Christmas is not a religious holiday is like saying that the Cowboys will win the Super Bowl this year. It is LUDICROUS!!!!!!!!!! You can’t call it a Christmas tree…you have to say Holiday tree. It is no longer Christmas Vacation…it is Winter Recess. You can’t put up the Manger scene because some schmuck might be insulted. There are schools that no longer have Christmas concerts, but rather Holiday concerts. They can’t sing songs like Silent Night because that is too religious, but nobody is complaining about Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer!! I guess killing a 70 year old woman with a sleigh is just fine!

I always thought the majority rules, but it only takes 1 asshole to ruin things for millions of people. This is pathetic!!!!

CBS CSI NY and Arafat

CBS decided to screw viewers from seeing the end of Wednesday's CSI NY to be the ""FIRST"" station to say that Arafat was "officially" dead. Considering that they screw us every fucking week with "Cold Case" due to the NFL and any other program we may like to watch.....FUCK THEM!!!!!!!

The CBS News came on 3 minutes after their "EXCLUSIVE" news about Arafat. The only one who didn't know Arafat was dead was a Penquin in the Bronx Zoo who was eating Xanax like M&M's because he freaked when it finally got cold!!!!

So...they decided they would play the entire episode again tonight, Friday......that way they could screw over OTHER networks.....meaning people would tune into their show to see what happened instead of seeing other new Friday Night Shows!

I didn't see any other NETWORK who ended a popular show on Wednesday night by giving news they would give in 3 minutes anyway!

I have always been a True Blue Yankees fan. During the late 70's when they dominated and through the 80's and early 90's when they completely and utterly sucked. And of course lately when they have been pretty dominant as well.

After watching the Yankees go up 3 games to 0 with a 19-8 victory I am sure we all thought the series was in the bag. I had my doubts though and game 4 and game 5 proved those feelings of doubt correct.

The Yanks have the highest payroll in baseball so they should pretty much win every game 19-8. Also, if you have runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs and you constantly do not score you really do not deserve to win.

All that being said....just a little part of me is kind of rooting for the Sox. I know that is sacrilege, but I always like to root for the under dog. (That is what the Yankees really were when this Series started...regardless if they finished in First Place.) Especially for a team that has shown that much heart in the past 2 games. Most of me is hoping they go back to Boston with their tails between their legs, but I can't help rooting just a little bit for them.

I deleted my last post because after reading a comment from Muffingal I realized that it would turn out to be a never ending back and forth. That was exactly what I was trying to avoid.

I will say this. Many White people feel that Black people and Non-White people are being given preferential treatment with things like Affirmative Action. Many Black people or Non-White people feel like White people get treated better than everyone else. I can only speak from the White side of things. In short I can say this...My Grandparents came here from Germany and they weren't handed a damn thing. They had to work for everything they got. My Mom raised her kids as a single parent and worked jobs that current welfare recipients stick their noses up at since they feel they make more on the public dole than actually working. I have not been handed anything either. Look at the more than modest studio apartment I live in and I think that will be apparent.

The point of my post that I deleted was that we should all just stop singling ourselves out and just be Americans. Easier said than done???...absolutely, but I think it would be better for all of us to stick together than to keep pointing fingers at each other when things do not go our way. There will always be racism unfortunately, but many people do not realize that racism works both ways.

I think my point was missed on my last post as maybe I didn't really read what I had written. I have saved the post in a doc file and may tweak it a bit and put it back up. I also saved Muffingal's comment as well.

Anyways...this will probably be one of the few times I actually delete a post. I could just see argument after argument arising from the latest one and that was so far from my intention I decided to nix it.

Terrorism and Iraq

They have been asking on the evening news and in the papers, "Is terrorism more of a threat now since the Iraq War?" The answer is obviously "NO".

I know the popular answer would be yes, but let me explain. Until 9/11 how many of us even knew who the hell the Taliban was? How many really had heard the name Bin Laden? Not too many I would imagine. Within hours after 9/11 Taliban became a household word as did the group name Al Qaeda.

The only difference between then and now is that people are hearing about these freaks every day. The thought of terrorists in the US is no longer an "in the closet" idea. There is no more of a threat now then there was before 9/11...people are just more informed as to the goings on of these maniacs. Maybe if people had been kept informed before 9/11 that day could have been prevented.

Are terrorists more vocal on attacking US interests since the Iraq war started? Of course they are! Why? Because they know we are a real threat to their sick way of life. For people to argue that the war has produced more terrorists in Iraq than there ever were I say "GOOD". Let's round them up like fish in barrel and do away with them once and for all. As I have said before...it is time to start playing on the level that these murderers play on. We cannot win this war on terrorism by playing by the rules because terrorism has no rules. That is why it is called TERRORISM! To treat these bastards with respect and fairness would be like letting Charles Manson live out his days at a suite at The Plaza Hotel.

Does the media play up every terrorist threat on the TV news 10 times a day nowadays? Yes they do. That does not make terrorism more of a threat...it just means we are hearing more of the threats than we ever did before.

BTW...once again, where is the media outrage over the beheadings going on in Iraq? I am still seeing news specials on the Abu Ghraib Prison Scandal, but have never seen the same amount of attention given to the beheadings of innocent people. Where the hell is our media's focus on this? Why are there no Muslim groups having protests in the streets regarding the beheadings as they did with the Prison Scandal? Why are beheading videos the number one seller in Iraq? I will answer that last one. Because the people we are saving are ungrateful and actually support the terrorists that are blowing up their own country. Great tourist spot for sure!

It is time to play at the dirty end of the field and end these low lifes existence.

There is a point in a relationship when you go to bed, say your good nights and turn off the lights. Instead of rolling in opposite directions in the bed to get comfortable in your own space you get close to one another and with one arm draped over the other you fall asleep. Sometimes it is not the most comfortable position, but the fact that you are holding someone you care about as you go to sleep more than makes up for it. Sometimes as your eyes adjust to the darkness you take a peak at the one you are holding onto and smile to yourself; maybe even get butterflies in your stomach for a second before falling asleep.

That is definitely one of the things I miss most.

I have to start off by saying that I was never a big Howard Stern fan. Why? It isn't his sense of humor or joking about people that I don't like. It was always the fact that I sensed that although he was great at dishing things out he would never be able to take it if people ever started ripping into him.

Sure enough, during his divorce, people were commenting about it and he used his radio show to bitch and whine how people were talking about his personal life. After all the shit he has said about people..."IS HE FUCKING KIDDING????" He is the male version of Joan Rivers. Joan will kick anyone and everyone when they are down, but as soon as someone says something about her she goes onto Regis and starts crying about it.

So to Howard I say..."Good fucking riddance. I wouldn't listen to you for free let alone pay to hear your lame shit." I will have to say kudos to you though for getting people to listen to your shit for this long.

Also, with everything going on in the world, how in the hell is this big news????? How desperate is our society for news when we give a shit that Howard Stern is unhappy and is quitting free radio? Pretty damn desperate, I guess.

Soul Searching

Well, this has not been a good Monday or Tuesday. I was home from work both days. Those of you who read this and have any idea what an anxiety attack feels like can pretty much understand what is happening with me. Those of you who have never had an anxiety attack....I totally envy you...big time!

This is not going to be a huge post. I just thought by typing I would understand why I have been going downhill for the past 10 weeks or so. My Dad passed away after being sick for a while...watching him while he was sick was the most helpless I have felt since my Mom was sick and passed away. I guess the whole thing stirred up some emotions about that. My niece was born. That is a really great thing, but it got me to thinking that I am not exactly a spring chicken and I have absolutely nothing. I have physical things, but I do not have anyone to be with. I guess we could call this a mid-life crisis thing. When I turn 40 I have no idea how I will handle that. Fortunately I have a while before that happens. Work is pretty much on the edge right now. I have not had a very good attendance record for the past 10 weeks and it is getting me nervous about my job a great deal. Of course that doesn't help when you are sitting at home with an anxiety attack and you start worrying that you may lose your job because of it. There are other things as well so I guess you could say that my plate is pretty full.

In short...anxiety attacks suck big time. It is embarrassing to even have to admit that I get them, but I am tired of people thinking I am sickly or something. In a sense I am, but if were something physical I would be able to know how to treat it. I have not yet found a way in the past 10 weeks to truly relax except for getting occasionally shit faced. That is so temporary it really is not worth it and then the next day any anxious feelings are compounded by a hangover.

Those of you that know me and read this, please try not to look at me funny when you see me. This is nothing new for me even if it is the first time you are hearing about it.

I will just have to do a day by day thing. I can't do any more than that.

DVD release of Star Wars

Three words....George Lucas SUCKS!!!!!!! Five words....George Lucas SUCKS HOMELESS BALLS!!!!!!!

He took 3 perfectly good movies and decided to tweak them. Actually, I do not have a problem with that. What I have a problem with is that you are forced to watch his changes! When the Aliens Quadrilogy was released they included the Original Version of the movie AND the Director's Cut. Does George Lucas give his fans the same courtesy????? Of course not; the egotistical fuck!!!!!

Let me give just one example of what I am talking about which totally ruins the last movie. First off the music that was playing at the end of the movie is now totally different. It went from a good victory beer drinking kind of song to a sappy walking through a field of daisies because you are wearing a scented tampon kind of song. It totally kills the mood at the end. THEN when Luke sees Yoda, Obi Wan and his Father....his Father is a young man!!!!!! What the FUCK??????? If that is the case why is Obi Wan still an old man and why does Yoda still look like an over ripened avocado???? It makes no sense at all!!!!

I am just happy that I still have my VHS copies of the movies. I totally recommend to everyone that you stay away from these movies as watching them will ruin the memory of them for you. He took away all the nostalgia and replaced it with special effects. In short...the movies now suck homeless hairy monkey balls!!!!!!!

Where is the media and the outrage regarding the beheadings of 2 Americans? Sure, it is getting some air time, but there is no outrage compared to that of the abuse the Iraqi prisoners took. And let's look at what happened to them....they had nude pictures taken of them, they had a dog growling at them, they were put down by females and I am sure that a few of them were beaten. HOWEVER, nobody was beheaded!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2 men that were beheaded were over in Iraq trying to help the Iraqi people rebuild their lives and their country and they were killed in cold blood for it. It is time we start playing by the Extremist rules. Like Sean Connery said in The Untouchables, "If they pull out a knife, you pull out a gun...If they put one of your men in the hospital you put one of theirs in the morgue." We cannot win this supposed war on terror by playing by the rules because, quite simply, there are no rules. The deaths of these 2 innocent men prove that.

Oh...for all you liberals who think we can win this by diplomatic means I think you should look at history. Do you think we would have been able to convince the Nazis diplomatically??? Michael has a problem and he needs help...BUT at the same time he needs to be punished..severely..for what he has done to the children who entrusted themselves to him. No innocent person would pay a family 20 million for them to drop charges of child molestation. Then again...if I were a parent there is no amount of money that would stop me from getting the bastard who molested my child. I do believe Michael is guilty as hell and I hope that justice is served and his ass is sent to jail.

I think we are all screwed this election just as we were the last election. The extremists are not even hiding the fact anymore that they are targeting their own people. However, instead of being angry with the bombers, the Iraqi people are angry with the USA and the Iraqi Government. What the hell is wrong with this picture???????

Now, if we left Iraq and the bombings continued, then the Iraqi people would blame us for leaving. This has now become a complete 'lose\lose' situation for us. I do not blame Bush half as much as I blame the ungrateful Iraqi people.

Granted, I have absolutely no idea what life is like over there for the Iraqi people. I really think that most people here in the USA are pretty much spoiled rotten. It appears that the people who own this dog (even though dogs are not allowed as per the lease!) are not home. Now whenever they are not home this dog goes fucking nuts! It sounds like one of those little dogs...2 deep barks then a howl that kind of fades off. I love dogs...some of the girls I have dated proves this point...but this mutt is testing my sanity and my love of dogs. I hope he chokes on one of his own balls next time he cleans himself! Today is the 3rd anniversary of the worst terror attack to take place on American soil. They just finished reading the names of all the people who died in the attacks. It took over 3 hours to read all the names. That really puts it into perspective. All of the people named were innocent civilians who went to work 3 years ago with nothing on their minds except getting their jobs done and going home. Due to the acts of some sick muslims that didn't happen.

Today stirs a lot of emotions in me and not many of them are very good. The main good one is that everyone in my family and all of my friends were safe. I knew a few of the people who died that day, but none that could be called my friend. The only other good spot was to see how this city came together to get through the whole thing. For a little while nobody was white or black or yellow or brown...we were all just people...Americans trying to get through a very tough time. That is something this city should be proud of.

The rest of the feelings that get stirred in me are not so good. I think about these muslim extremists and I once again have to say that what they are doing is not allowed by the Muslim religion. Yet how come the Muslim people are not fighting against these extremists???? How is it that not one Muslim out of a billion of them comes forward to warn people of pending attacks???? It is time for Muslims to make themselves accountable for the actions of their extremists. Why does the US have to lead the fight on this???? Why haven't the Muslim people risen up to fight this battle on their own???? Why is it that Saudi Arabia didn't get involved sooner in the fight against terrorism???? It is the duty of all religious people to do the same in their own beliefs. Whether it be catholic, baptist, protestant, jewish, etc etc. People, or in these muslim extremists case, animals, should not be allowed to hide behind their religion. When these muslim extremists hide they do it in their supposed holiest sites so that if they are attacked the world will say that the US attacked a Muslim shrine. How cowardly can these freaks be??? Do you think these assholes would think twice about blowing up St. Patrick's Cathedral or the Vatican if they could???

Now many people think it took balls to fly a planes into the World Trade Center towers...Bill Maher..aka ASSHOLE...made a huge point of this after the attacks happened. It doesn't take balls to kill yourself Bill. Many people kill themselves every day and yet nobody says how they had balls to do it. People always say that they took the cowards way out. That is all these extremists did. They are cowards. The main cowards in this are the supposed ring leaders like Bin Laden. If he had any balls whatsoever he wouldn't be hiding in some fucking cave away from the public eye. If he feels what he did is so noble and that all Muslims will support him then he should be out in the open letting all of these people surround him. Even that goat loving asshole knows that wouldn't happen.

Anyway...I know today should be a day spent in remembering the people who died and the people who came together to help each other and I will try to focus on that for the rest of the day instead of the angry feelings I have.

God bless everyone who died that day, their families and all of us who were affected so greatly by 9/11. In fact...I think God should just bless everyone.

Basic Rant

Well it has happened. I have finally reached a point where I just do not give a shit anymore. I have been feeling like crap for about 2 months now...more so than usual. It has gotten me down pretty much. I felt so bad that I actually extended my vacation time by two days. So in essence I wasted 2 perfectly good vacation days to sit in my fucking apartment and feel miserable!

I have been worried for a while about losing my job...time off, move to 48, etc etc. Right now I couldn't give a shit one way or the other. If feeling like shit does nothing else it gives you plenty of time to think about things in your life. Well as far as work goes...I fucking hate it. Even people I like grate on me now. It isn't them...it is the shitty atmosphere in the office. Granted, I have not been there a whole lot with everything that has happened in the past few months and the times I have been there my brain definitely was not, but I haven't liked the office in over a year. It has become an office of political bullshit. Pretty much like the race for President. (These 2 douche bags should just get out the straws and start shooting spitballs at each other. All they have proven is that they can both bitch like little school girls....(any school girls reading this..no offense meant.))

I have decided that it is time to move on. I have a feeling it will be one of those 'just get up and leave' type things. I do not have another job lined up or a place to live lined up, but I just suddenly feel like my life has amounted to about 15 pounds of shit. Now why didn't I choose a nice round number like 10??? Well if that is your main concern in this post then you give far less of a shit than I do!

Anyways, I do not know when or how or where, but I can tell you that my main focus right now is to get out of here. I hate the city, I hate my job and, more specifically, I hate the way my life is. Put all these together and you have a not so very cheerful person. Outwardly with friends, maybe....inwardly....uh uh.

I have written posts like this because I do feel a little relief after I write them. Sometimes I read them back and wonder, "What the fuck????!", but it is good to have a place to jot down my rantings when I need to.

Well we will see what the future brings. I would like to say that I will hold out at my job until the end of the year, but I can't even focus that far ahead. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

When I was in the 5th Grade myself and a classmate thought it would be a good idea to run away from home for the weekend. It mainly came from a dare actually. When you are in the 5th grade it is amazing the stupid shit that you will do on a dare. Any of you who have seen "A Christmas Story" know that once you hit 'Triple Dog Dare' that you have to do something or just run home and hide for a week.

Anyways...my friend Mike and I decided that the coldest Friday of the year would be the best time to go. I put on 3 pairs of pants, 4 pairs of socks, 5 shirts, a sweater and my coat. Plus I had gloves and a hat...so at 10 years old I figured we were set. I think we had about 2 dollars between the 2 of us. The day that we took off was Report Card day. That is not the reason we did it...not me anyways. (Dares are a bitch...(The major bitch of this whole thing was that the asshole that dared us to do it didn't believe us on Monday. I swear if I ever run into him again...in life...I am just going to punch him in the fucking head.)) I had gotten straight A's....a trend that did not follow me that much further I am afraid. Also, I was supposed to go see King Kong that night....I guess I just gave away my age on that one (it was the remake)...which I was really looking forward to, so there was no real reason to do what we did.

Anyways...we took off and started walking through Manhattan. Destination...Upstate NY. We walked about 10 miles before we decided it was way too cold and way too stupid to continue so I called home. My Grandmother answered the phone and I told her where we were. Within a few minutes some Police Officers picked us up. Mike and I still thought the whole thing was a big joke and grinned and chuckled the whole way to the Police Station. We sat there drinking hot chocolate and eating donuts until out parents showed up. My Mom ran in and hugged me like she would never let go. I still didn't understand the gravity of what I had done.

We drove home in my Mom's car and Mike and I were officially grounded for life. We were still grinning and thinking it was a big joke in the back of my Mom's pinto. We dropped him and his Dad off at home and we went back to our apartment. When we got upstairs my Mom sat me down and told me what she had just been through. She didn't tell me everything that night...she saved a lot of what the cops had her do and the thoughts that they had for when I was older...but she told me point blank, "You took 10 years off my life." The rest of what happened is not the point of this post.

My Mom passed away 6 and a half years ago. It was probably the worst day of my life and continues to be so up to this post. I have thought about it more than once, but I have never really told anybody my thoughts. What if I really did take 10 years off her life? She would still be here and I would be much happier because of that.

There is no need to go any further on this as I think anyone reading this can see my thought pattern on this. I know we all say things through the course of our lives...I would give my right arm for that....or I will never ask for anything again if I get this...etc etc etc.....unfortunately this is something my Mom said about something really dumb I had done. One thing I will say is this...the cops had her with them as they were searching in bushes for a body in the places I would hang out.

I guess you could say I feel guilty a lot of the time about this as my Mom was way too young when she passed away.

I don't know why this came to mind this evening as strongly as it did. Maybe my Mom is haunting me as she promised she would!

Dinner on Friday

Last night I went to dinner at a nice Mexican Restaurant with my friends…Muffingal and Pixierose (aka Ms. Flatleaver). BRIEF NOTE……I notice in Pixierose’s first blog she states, “my supervisor who is hardly ever in the office”….well, that hurts!!!!!!!!

As always, when we hang out together, we had a great time and some funny shit happened.

Let me start off by saying that there is a waiter at this restaurant who used to work there years ago. Whenever I would go to eat there I always got the impression that he touched me a little too much. (Yeppers…he is gay) He is a nice guy, but I always felt like he touched me way too much. Well, when I arrived at the restaurant it was only Muffingal there and I sat down. Who comes over??? You guessed it…the touchy, feely waiter. Within minutes I had both shoulders touched. Then he came over to give Muffingal her beer and the next thing I knew his ass was on my right arm. The more I moved over to the left the more his ass was pressed against my arm. Coincidence????? I do not think so!!!!!! Fortunately, Pixierose came and sat down in the seat to my right and took away the ass court advantage!

We were going to order and the waiter said that the special was salmon. Of course that is what Muffingal got. She is a vegetarian…sorta, kinda. We can’t kill mammals, but it is okay to torture and gut fish. I do not understand that, but that is really not the point of this particular post. Well, the waiter asks me if I want the salmon. I say, “I don’t like fish.” The words are not even out of my mouth when I realize how that could be taken. Apparently Muffingal had given me the “look” when I said it and Pixierose saw it, but I did not. Of course I just kept talking to make it very apparent that I meant ‘fish’ as in the animal and not ‘fish’ as in the…well, you know. Well this was a joke for a while at the table.

The dinner was very good. I had enchiladas and as you know Muffingal had the salmon and Pixierose had arroz con pollo. We all ate and we saw that Muffingal had left a lot of salmon on her plate. It seems that she does not eat the skin and the salmon left on her plate was too close to the skin. The waiter came over and asked why she left so much salmon and she explained about the skin thing. She had also left a lot of rice with a pimento on it. The waiter went to walk downstairs and I asked Muffingal, “Are you not eating the rice because it is too close to the pimento?” The waiter laughed at this and then she actually ate some more of the salmon. Talk about being put on the spot!

Muffingal and Pixierose ordered some coffee and chocolate cake. I ordered more beer…YAY! We sat around talking and at one point, I do not remember the topic as I was traumatized shortly after this happened, and Pixierose said something that made Muffingal laugh…while she was drinking water. The next thing I know my left arm is fairly damp as is my right arm since Muffingal laughed with a mouthful of water and spit it on me. Fortunately for me I was sitting right across from her….goody for me! Of course me wiping myself down only made them both laugh even more. Actually it was pretty funny and I got a free shower to boot.

Afterwards we came back to my place to watch a movie….Death to Smoochy. Those of you who have not yet seen this move…GO RENT IT!!!! It is fucking hysterical. Some of Robin Williams’ best work as far as I am concerned…he was great in it. We also just talked a bit more and joked about shit ranging from work to Ethiopians. Well…in all honesty…I am the one who told jokes about the Ethiopians. In my defense however…they were funny and my company laughed!

All in all it was a very fun evening and probably the most fun I have had in a long time.

Russian Terrorists

They laughed at these kids as they were passing out from the heat and wouldn't give them any water, but rather insisted that they drink their own urine. Now let's see...what religion were these terrorists????....hmmmm.....that's right....MUSLIM!

All I can ask is...What the fuck is wrong with these people?????? Who in their right mind would truly believe that God would reward you for not only killing yourself, but also for killing innocent people...including children???? Absolutely nobody in their right mind would. A muslim friend of mine explained the Koran and how it denounces the killing of oneself or others. The people we see doing this are NOT TRUE MUSLIMS! I found it very hard to stop from saying, "Let's just kill all of them." and not meaning it after 9/11. BUT, as with any group, there are always bad people involved. These bad people are the terrorists and they need to be destroyed.

This means that the other billion Muslims in the world have to start helping out on this. There is no way that out of a billion or so Muslims that none of them know these terrorist's plans. I compare this to the Catholic Priests who rape young boys. It may be less than 1% of the priests doing it, but 100% of them knew about it and did nothing. If you know something bad is happening and you do nothing to prevent it then you are just as guilty as the mindless, soulless assholes that are hurting people...or in the terrorist's case...heartlessley killing them.

There is a web site out there where you can see the killing of many of the hostages in Iraq. This site will show you how these fucking lunatics feel innocent people should be treated because they don't believe the same way they do. AND they do it all in the name of God. In a way though it is good to be able to see what these psychos are doing to innocent people. The news can't show these images on TV and just hearing the words doesn't do it justice. You will only need to see these videos once to realize that these fanatics are not doing any of God's work. They are only trying to force their way of believing onto other people by any means they can. One great thing is that there is a hell waiting for them!

I hope that they prove me wrong, but I think it is time to stick a fork in the NY Yankees because they are done. When you have to rely on another team losing to keep your position in the standings it is time to worry. I have been a Yankees fan my whole life, but it bothers me that these guys make so much money! Most fans do not realize that every time these guys get a pay raise the ticket prices go up, the concession prices go up, etc etc etc. $7.50 for a 20 Oz Miller???? Are you out of your fucking mind??????! Number one, Miller Beer sucks ass. Guess what all you alcoholics out there...so does Budweiser. They can put all the "Born On" dates they want...it doesn't change the fact that their beer sucks! Then again, nowadays to watch the Yankees play, you need as much alcohol as you can get your hands onto...whatever the brand. They absolutely suck. They are playing like the Mets! That is the worst thing I could ever say about my beloved Yankees...minus A-Rod of course. I do not like A-Rod. He could get the game winning home run in the World Series for the Yankees and I would find it hard to cheer.

Anyways...bottom line for this post....the Yankees are sucking major league ass right now. They better get their asses back in gear or start packing their bags because it will be a short post season!

Here is what he said about McCain....."Thank you, John McCain," said Moore, who is covering the convention for USA Today. "The film's (Fahrenheit 911) doing $120 million right now. When McCain mentions it, I have a chance to do $150 million."

Like I said...his bottom line isn't the truth....it's $$$$$$$$$. I guess he needs that for fast food to keep that girlish figure of his! I like Moore almost as much as A-Rod!

Basic Morning Rant

We'll start off with the 48th Floor thing. This is really bugging me now. I sent an email to HR here in the company I work for to see what the hell I can do and if this is something I could lose my job over. I will see what they have to say. Also, I read an email from the guy who wants to move us that he sent to my supervisor and in it he says, "We have plenty of room for you guys...even Maybrick2001 (Window Seat)." Obviously he used my name and not my screen name, but you get the point. This has apparently become a laughing matter and joke within the company so I feel great about that. Now I am pretty thick skinned because I joke with EVERYONE.....BUT I never joke about things that someone can't control. Even I have my limits...my friends would probably break their necks with a double take on that statement, but I really do have limits about what I will joke about with someone. If this was something I could control I probably wouldn't mind, but I have absolutely none. As soon as I get on the elevator to go up there I get all white knuckled on the railing in the elevator. And once I am on 48 I can feel myself swaying. Phobias suck ass!!!!!!!!

Next...the NY Yankees....Sunday...August 29th....A-Rod on the Red Sox creeping up in the standings..."We're not worried. We are still in the driver's seat." Now it is cocky shit like that which makes me sick. You blow a 10 game lead and you have the balls to say you're not worried and that you're in the driver's seat????? Well, after last night's 22-0 destruction I would have to think someone is worried now. It is the worst beating in Yankees history!!!!!! It is the worst shut out loss in American League history!!!!!!! It ties the worst shut out loss in Major League History since 1900!!!!! Do the math on just how many games have been played since 1900! Now I am a die hard Yankee fan. I was a fan in the early 70's as a kid when the Yankees were lucky they could find the stadium. Then came the Championships. Then the 80's and early 90's happened which I would just as soon forget. Now we have a so called dynasty. One that I am sad to say looks like it is coming to an end. Last night was shameful...there should have been a mercy rule or something. A little part of me though was smiling since I despise A-Rod and it was his comment that bothered me. Plus, the thought of what Steinbrenner was doing in his Owner's Box would probably have been worth the price of admission. Did I mention that I despise A-Rod???????? Now I am still positive they will make the playoffs and do well, but if their lame ass pitching staff doesn't start pitching it isn't going to matter how well they are hitting! The Yankee season will just fade into the west.

Next....Protestors in NYC....This has not been as bad as I thought, but I would still like to see some more night stick action. Actually, the police have been doing a great job. It amazes me that the only person injured thus far was a cop who was stomped on by a protestor. They have it on video from what I hear and they have arrested the guy...Jamal Holiday (today's NY Daily News). When arrested he asked, "Why am I being arrested?" Are you fucking kidding me?????? It is these type of people that ruin it for the peacful protestors who are just here to voice their opinions. Kudos to the cops for doing a great job, to the protestors who are just here to voice their opinions without doing any damage or breaking any laws and a big "GO FUCK YOURSELF" to Jamal and the other asshole protestors who cause all the problems.

Drunk Drivers and drugs in general

What is it with this country and drunk drivers???? How in the hell can someone be arrested of DWI or DUI and then let go to just do it again?? Every time you read about a drunk driver killing someone, like today in the NY Daily News, you always read that the person has been arrested before for DUI or DWI. Why do we not have stronger laws in place to protect people?? Also, how in the hell can alcohol still be legal and Pot is not?????? If someone can explain what sense that makes I would be happy to hear it. Drunk drivers kill more people every year than Pot has in the last century. Alcohol kills more people every year than Pot has in its existence. Yet, once again, just as with cigarettes, this country will keep anything legal that it can make a buck off of.

For those of you saying, "Well, the Government could make a buck off of Pot if they legalized it." That is very true. Unfortunately, it is not as much money as they make by keeping it illegal. If anyone out there doesn't believe that our Government gets kick backs to let drugs into this country you should try leaving the matrix. If you watch the news you will notice once every 6 weeks or so there is a huge drug bust. For every one of those drug busts I would think 100 similar shipments get through. Those drug busts are meant to just let us think something is being done...well, I for one do not believe it. Also, let us not forget that our jails are full of drug dealers. Most of them low level, selling an ounce on the corner drug dealers. There are so many people in jail for Pot that they have to parole rapists and murderers to make room for them. That is where the Government makes its real money.

I am not saying Pot is harmless, but if you can smoke cigarettes which kills a half million people a year and drink alcohol which kills thousands more why in the hell can't you toke up??? I truly loved the commercial that the Government put on TV regarding Pot and how if you bought it you were supporting terrorists. One kid who bought a dime bag in the commercial said, "I helped the hijackers crash into the WTC." What BULLSHIT!!!!!!! About 60% of the weed you get on the street is grown in the good ole USA...one of the very few things that this country still makes very well. Much of the other weed comes from Canada and Mexico. I do not remember the last time a Mexican terrorist killed innocent people with an exploding burrito! As for the Canadians...they are almost French so all you have to do is look at them and they would surrender. Buying Pot supports terrorists.....BULLSHIT!!!!! Now, if you are buying opium or heroin...then they have a case about you supporting terrorism. BUT, we know where the poppy fields are so why in the hell have we not destroyed them????? The worst thing about being home on a weekday is flipping through the channels in the hope that you might find something intelligent to watch. While flipping I saw about 2 minutes of Judge Judy. Now I realize the people on the show were stupid enough to sign a waiver to have their case heard by this old crow, but that does not give her the right to talk to people the way she does.

She insults people, belittles them and comes off with some kind of superior attitude. Plus, she always has this look on her face like someone is holding a fresh dog turd right under her nose. It would be worth the fine from the FCC to tell her to go fuck herself on national TV.

She is as bad as Dr. Phil. He cracks me up when he tells people how to lose weight or that they need to lose weight. After he drops about 50 pounds he can give that type of advice...or when he can look at his balls without the use of a mirror...whichever comes first.

Then let us not forget Maury Povich. This asshole brings on women who have to have 8 different guys checked to see who fathered their child yet his stupid audience boos the men and not the slutty women!!! That makes a lot of sense! Then, when someone is totally embarrassed on TV he walks after them to prolong it. He is the worst case of someone saying that he is only trying to help people. He is a Jerry Springer wannabe. Except that Jerry Springer knows his show is pathetic...especially now that they are all actors. Those of you who didn't already know that...I pity you.

Her eyes, when she actually wakes up long enough to open them, are brilliant to look at. I just love looking at the wonderous look on her face. It's either that or she just pooped her diapers.

She makes me want to go out and get my own. That is one of the few things that I actually look forward to down the line...having a baby of my own. Well, mine and the Mother's of course!

Anyway...consider this a brag post on me having the most adorable niece ever!!!!!!!

Stress Boils Over

Well...it was an innocent enough situation. I had just ironed a shirt...a very rare occurrence that should be covered by the media. After finishing I attempted to close the ironing board. Sounds like a simple enough task, doesn't it??? Well I kept hitting the latch and it just would not close. I took a step back and did the count to 10 thing...well, I actually only got to 3 before I absolutely beat the ever loving shit out of the ironing board. I pretty much took every aggression I had this week out on this ironing board. I was about to fling it across the room when I realized that I could possibly hit my TV and cause a shitload of damage. That would not have been good so let's all thank my "Common Sense" angel for stopping me from throwing this $20 piece of shit through my TV screen.

Destroying this thing helped a little bit, but it was temporary. I am now eye balling the microwave. I have never liked the way it has looked at me. Tonight might be the night it gets what it deserves.

God...my life sucks so much right now.

Well...the venting helped a little more so hopefully I will get a decent night's sleep and wake up ready to break another appliance.

Stress Level

I am just about max'd out on the amount of stress I can handle at this point. I have what feels like a million things going on and nothing is going right. Work sucks. My apartment sucks. Being alone really, really sucks!!!!!! You would think that having your own space and schedule would be a good thing, but I have never been like that. I always liked being in a relationship. Oh well.

Let's just leave this post with the knowledge that I am STRESSED to the point where I just want to put my fist through the wall. Of course I would then have the hole in the wall to worry about which would add more stress.
